Responsible for providing excellent service in our Gastro pub, including greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks and processing payments. Whilst always being alert to the cleanliness of the dining areas and the overall safety of guests.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Customer Service: Greeting guests warmly, seating them, presenting menus, and answering questions regarding ingredients or allergies.
- Order Taking & Delivery: Writing down or entering food and drink orders into a POS system, passing them to the kitchen, and delivering orders accurately.
- Table Maintenance: Clearing empty plates, glasses, and trash; cleaning and setting up tables for new guests.
- Payments: Presenting bills and processing cash or card payments efficiently.
- Communication: Acting as a liaison between customers and the kitchen staff to ensure satisfaction.
